Completely Unexpected Part 2
The taxi pulled up at the airport and I paid the driver and retrieved my luggage. I looked at the doors to the airport and let out a big sigh, this is it. I looked at my watch. 1:35. ****! I ran to the gate and handed the man my ticket. Fortunately, they were running a little behind. I collapsed. I woke up on the couch, with a blanket over me, and found that the man had left. Was that all a dream? Was there really a man? And did he really tell me that my parents were murdered? And that the guy got away? I sat there in shock, not knowing what to think, until I saw a note on the coffee table.

My name is Ashley Bennet. I am 16 years old. I'm short, 5'4. I'm thin with long blond hair and bright blue eyes. I live in Oakland, California with my parents. I'm an only child. I always wanted a brother or sister, probably because I wasn't the kind to make very many friends. I have only one friend, but we're close. We're practically the same person. She's my best friend for life. Her name is Anita and she's 16 as well. Today is July 20th, my parents' wedding anniversary. They're going out to dinner at a fancy restaurant. I guess that's a better way to spend their evening than how they usually spend it, with late business trips to the office

"What kind of pizza do you guys want?"
"Pepperoni!" Tre' shouted.
"Sausage!" Mike chimed in.
"Cheese!" Billie replied.
"Cheese, please!" I answered.
"Alright. That's one medium cheese pizza and one medium half sausage and half pepperoni pizza." Billie's mom stated.
"And what do you guys want to drink?"
"What about cranberry juice and sprite?" I as

We arrived at Billie's house after about 10 minutes of walking and debating whether or not to tell Billie's mom that I'm from the future. We stepped inside, took off our shoes, and made our way to the kitchen where Billie's mom was cooking what looked like dinner.
"Hey mom."
"Hey Billie."
"This is Ashley."
"Hello Ashley. Nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you too Mrs. Armstrong."
"I hear you've got no place to stay? Is that right?"
"Yes ma'am, that's correct. It's a long story."
"Well there's always a place for you here."
"Thanks Mrs. Armstrong."
Billie and I went upstairs to his room. Of course, it was trashed, just like any teen

"Sure honey, who's your friend?"
"Her name is Ashley."
"A girl?!?"
"Yeah. Please mom, she has no place to stay!"
"Alright, I guess she can stay."
"Thanks mom!"
"Yeah yeah. I'll see you later."
Billie shut his phone and noticed that I had stuff with me. He mostly noticed my guitar, of course.
"You play guitar?"
"Yeah, I've been playing for about a year."
I showed Billie my Gibson. He was amazed.
"Hey, why don't we head back to my house now and maybe you can explain some more
